Sinhala and Tamil New Year 2019 in Berlin

Sri Lanka’s Participation at the Carnival of Cultures in Berlin - 2019

carnival2019offerThe Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau wishes to support an Association of Sri Lankans in Germany participating in the annual Carnival of Cultures in Berlin on 7th to 10th June 2019 in showing off their motherland as a unique and diverse tourism destination. A group of dancers will be travelling from Sri Lanka to Berlin to participate in the activities of the Carnival of Cultures funded by the SLTPB.

Sri Lanka Embassy in Berlin Celebrates the 71st Anniversary of the National Day of Sri Lanka

ND1In celebration of the 71st anniversary of the National Day, the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin organized two events in addition to the Flag hosting ceremony at the Embassy premises. The celebrations included a reception for the Sri Lankan community in Germany on 4th February at the Zehlendorf city hall and a reception for the diplomatic community including senior officials from the German Government, leading businessmen, journalists and representatives of Sri Lanka Associations in Berlin on 6th February.
