In view of the prevailing pandemic related restrictions, the programme was streamed live via Facebook, enabling the Diplomatic corps in Germany, Sri Lankan community and friends of Sri Lanka across Germany to join the Independence Day celebrations.

Sri Lanka Embassy participates in We Love Travel festival

WLTcThe Embassy of Sri Lanka has joined the We Love Travel Festival held from 16th to 18th October in Berlin. Due to the pandemic situation the organizers, Messe Berlin and We LOVE Travel decided to hold the tourism recovery event virtually only. The organizer gave publicity for Sri Lanka through their website, social media and also through integrating an interview with Ambassador Manori Unambuwe on Sri Lanka in their virtual programme.
