Media Release - Consular Services for public only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

ForminSealDue to the prevailing situation in the country, the Consular Affairs Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will provide services to the public only on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with effect from June 30, 2022 until July 10, 2022. The same working arrangements will also apply to the Regional Consular offices in Jaffna, Matara, Kandy, Trincomalee and Kurunagela will provide services on these days.

Peiris will travel to Singapore for a bilateral visit from 8-9 June 2022, on the invitation of his counterpart, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan. During his visit, Minister Peiris will hold bilateral discussions with Foreign Minister Balakrishnan and meetings with the Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong, Minister for Law and Minister for Home Affairs K Shanmugam and other senior officials.
