The Sri Lanka Export Development Board has organized the Sri Lanka Pavilion at the Transport & Logistics fair in Munich from 4-7 June 2019 to showcase Sri Lanka’s expertise in efficient cargo handling and its further potential as a logistics hub. Interested parties are cordially invited to visit the opening of the Sri Lankan Pavilion in B2.322 on 4th June 2019, 14.00 hrs., and a networking reception on 17.45 hrs., als at the Sri Lankan Pavilion.

The 13^th consecutive International Healthcare Exhibition 2019 will be held from 12th to 14th July at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo. The International Healthcare Exhibition serves as a good platform for healthcare related professionals, service providers, product manufacturers, exporters, importers and retailers from different countries to meet each other under one roof for business interactions and explore the industry. The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka invites companies engaged in Indigenous and Western medicinal healthcare products and service providers including wellness promotion organizations from other countries to be part of the event.
Sri Lankan expatriates in Berlin and German Friends joined the Candle Light Vigil at the premises of the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin on 23rd April to pay respect to the victims of the attack on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka.

‘This year's Yowun Pura’ or ‘The City of Youth’ Leadership and Outward Bound National Programme conducted under the guidance of Hon. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe will be held from 27th to 31st March 2019 in Hambantota, Sri Lanka, bringing together 7000 Sri Lankan and 100 International young people from all around the world. This year the camp is taking place in Hambantota in the Southern Province. Each of the 25 districts in Sri Lanka will send a team to represent them at the camp and a 26th ‘Worldwide’ team will be comprised of representatives from across the globe. Two young persons from Germany will have the opportunity to participate as members of this team. 
Constructors, who are already engaged in construction work in Sri Lanka or those who are intending to undertake construction projects in Sri Lanka are invited to register as a contractor.
