The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Germany invites all Sri Lankan expatriates including students in Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro and all Sri Lankan nationals, who are currently in Germany, Switzerland, Croatia, Northern Macedonia and Montenegro with short-term visa, who are unable to return to Sri Lanka due to the current travel restrictions, to register voluntarily with the Embassy.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin, Germany, is in the process of compiling information on Sri Lankan nationals in the above countries, enabling the Embassy to reach out to them and provide assistance to them during emergencies such as Covid-19-outbreak. Further, the mission invites all overseas Sri Lankans to voluntarily register in the main online portal "Contact Sri Lanka" launched by the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Sri Lanka dedicated for the overseas Sri Lankans.
