The Second International Symposium on Development of CBRN – Defence capabilities was held in Berlin from October 22nd to 24th under the auspicious of the German Ministry of Interior and the support of the Federal Ministry of Defence.
The Symposium was organised to acquire worldwide attention and priority for the protection against the effect of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear hazards (CBRN). The Symposium focused on the establishment of extremely demanding interdisciplinary designed procedure and techniques in the context of crisis management, leadership organization, civilian and military organization for the protection of civilian and military personnel from the effect of CBRN hazards.
Major General M.Hathurusinghe, Commander Security Forces Jaffna, Sri Lanka Army and H.E the Ambassador Sarrath Kongahage participated in the Symposium.
Including the high-ranking quests, more than 1000 international quest from 50 countries participated in the Symposium.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Germany coordinated the participation of Major General M.Hathurusinghe at the symposium.
