The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Berlin has celebrated Deepavali ‘the festival of lights’, at the ‘Sri Mayurapathy Murugan Temple Berlin’ and ‘Sri Ganesha Hindu Tempel Berlin’ on 6th and 7th November 2018 respectively. The special poojas were attended by a cross-section of the Sri Lankan community in Berlin along with the staff of the Embassy.
Participation at this important religious festival with respect and appreciation for each other’s religious and cultural beliefs, further strengthened the Missions’ relations with the Sri Lankan Diaspora community living in Berlin.
