Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Germany, HE Manori Unambuwe visited a farm outside Munich to study the methodology of converting manure to organic fertilizer, produced by HKF-Agrosystems AG. The process which is carried out in a mobile plant “MoRoPlant” treats the manure with various natural protein additives, in creating bio fertilizer.
Chairman of HKF, Mr. Oliver Haas met with the Ambassador along with Mr Axel Strobel, MD of Cresconia which markets the fertilizer, to discuss its application and viability in Sri Lanka. The discussions focused on potential collaboration with HKF-Agrosystems AG and GoSL to set up mobile organic fertilizer plants in Sri Lanka, based on by-products and manure of animal husbandry as raw materials.
