The Embassy is currently affected by a major power outage in the south-west Berlin districts of Nikolassee, Zehlendorf, Wannsee, and Lichterfelde.
According to the relevant authorities, the power supply is expected to be restored by the afternoon of 8 January. The Embassy is in close contact with the authorities in this regard.
Due to the electricity outage, communication lines (email, landline, and mobile telephone services) in the area are also experiencing disruptions.
Accordingly, the Embassy will be able to provide consular services on a restricted basis, subject to operational limitations, until normal operations are restored.
