Instructions for submitting Life/Residence Certificate applications

Required documents:

1. Application for 2025
2. Valid Passport
3. National Identity Card (NIC) (if available)

After the attestation by the Embassy, the original certificate will be sent to the Foreign Pension Branch of the Department of Pensions in Sri Lanka by the Embassy. A copy of the same will be handed over to the applicant.

Failure to submit Life/Residence Certificate before the due date of the particular year may lead to the temporary suspension of the pension payment.
